More Than Two Dozen Noted Local Musicians Perform Music Box All-Star Benefit

Sat 12/23 @ 7PM

It could be that this show will be sold out by the time you read this because once again, Cleveland musician Frank Amato, vocalist with Beau Coup and now active as a producer, has assembly an astonishing cast of fellow Cleveland music veterans and legends for his annual Cleveland All-Stars show at the Music Box Super Club, a benefit for The Autism Society of Greater Cleveland.

Who will be there? For a start, fellow Beau Coup members Dennis Lewin, Bill March, Billy Sullivan, Don Krueger and his brother Tommy Amato. There’s several superstar drummers: Jimmy Fox, drummer for the James Gang — all versions; Tom Dobeck of the Michael Stanley and Michael Stanley’s Resonators; Jim Bonfanti of the Raspberries; and Jimmy Clark of too many bands to name. Keyboard players include Love Affair’s Rich Spina and George Sipl from the Eric Carmen Band.

And then there’s Steve Jochum from Wild Horses; melodic guitarist Neil Zaza who has a northeast Ohio-based international career; Theresa Rose, who sings with Zaza and with Wish You Were Here; Resonators Jennifer Lee and Paul Wolf Christensen; and assorted others including Todd Meany and Gary Stulak of the Ace Molar Band; singer Debbie Lewin; Joey DePasquale and Adam Marra of Six Foot Separation; Michael Tyler, Jeff West and Weasel Strychnine. Whew! If we forgot anyone, we’re sorry.

Check here to see if there are still tickets.
