Mahall’s in Lakewood is celebrating the arrival of the new year — and its own 100th year in business with a huge multi-room party called “Dancing Through the Decades,” with a different theme and sound in each room.
The Roxy Ballroom will be the place to dance to club hits from the 90s through today. In the main room, it’ll be all about the resurgent ’80s, with new wave, college rock and all those synth-driven dance tracks. (With all the revived interest due to recent Depeche Mode and Duran Duran tours, this room should be packed!) And downstairs in Pins & Needles you can kick back and soak up the good vibes of ’60s and ’70s tunes. Dress up in the spirit of your favorite era!
