It seems like just yesterday that LatinUs, Cleveland’s first serious, full-time Spanish-language theater, devoted to telling stories from Latine cultures, made its debut.But it’s been five years! Ok, so like everyone, they lost a couple of pandemic years, but they picked up and forged on at their home in the Pivot Center.
They’ll be celebrating their fifth anniversary with a benefit called “Nuestro Teatro A Toast to Talento!” to raise money to continue to put on high-quality performances of interesting, diverse and provocative scripts.
The event will feature food from Tropical Bay Latin Cuisine; cocktails from Mixology Inc; live Latin music by VIP Group; and A pastorela; La Decision de Satanas, presented by the ensemble. You don’t have to have a Latin background to join the fun. Get tickets here.
