Looking to work off some of those Christmas goodies you’ve been scarfing down or just wear out the kids? The ice skating rink at Wade Oval will be open every day from 1-8pm through December 30; 1-5pm on New Year’s Eve. If you don’t have skates, they rent them as part of the (very nominal) admission fee.
There’s some special programming this week too. Friday December 29 is movie night from 5-8pm with the opportunity to take pictures with Rudolph from 5:30-7:30. No word on whether he’ll be on skates. Saturday December 30 is comedy night with Kadijah Wingo (5pm), Kee Silly (6pm) and John Armstrong (7pm).Snacks, hot beverages and adult beverages are available for purchase at the Wade Oval Information Center next to the rink.
