Cleveland drag artist Veranda L’Ni is everywhere, and no bigoted state legislators are going to put the brakes on her momentum.
This self-dubbed “Cleveland’s tallest drag entertainer” doesn’t just perform, she organizes and advocates. She hosts special events such as drag story hours at Near West Theatre in Gordon Square and other locations, theme nights, benefits and Drag Bingo, a recurring event at the Music Box Supper Club. And on top of everything this evangelist for drag in Northeast Ohio is the designer of the Drag Pride flag.
December’s Drag Bingo is also a benefit with proceeds going to Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund. Veranda will bring along some of her colorful friends to oversee the fun. Come and participate or just take it all — or come early for dinner.
