Cleveland’s favorite reggae musician, Carlos Jones, has made it a tradition in recent years to cap his year with a day-after-Christmas holiday show, a chance to exhale after the rush into Christmas and dance the stress away at his annual Holiday Revival.
It’s been a year of change for Carlos and his band, The P.L.U.S. Band, with a couple of longtime members, bassist Darren “Cholly O” Evans and guitarist Ghani Harris, moving onto their own projects, Cholly after nearly 25 years with the PLUS Band, which formed in the mid ’90s. But with drummer Max Eger, percussionist Roy Isaacs and Curt Johnson, vocalist/keyboardist Peter Platten and tambourine player/vocalist George Gordon, the band continues to spread its sunny vibes across the region.
Cleveland reggae artist Sun Shade will be opening the show, which starts at 7pm. Doors open at 5pm for dinner.
