One of Cleveland Burlesque’s most popular shows, of the many it stages each year at the Beachland Ballroom, is its Starwars-themed evening “May the Tease Be With You: A Galactic Sensation.”
Each of the burlesque and drag performers on the roster offers their own take on a character or scene from the classic film series. You might see Stormtroopers, Jedi knights, Sith lords, droids — you never know. But expect the costuming and staging to be jaw-dropping. Performers include Cleveland Burlesque founder and Cleveland’s Burlesque Queen Bella Sin, Lola Loveletter (pictured at last year’s Starwars show), Heather & Lace, Poundcake, Holly Grail, Amoretto Rose, Fyre Strm, Hellcat Rose, Lakota Shekhar and Tommy Knockers.
