Almost everyone who was anyone in the local music scene was at the Treelawn Music Hall, the Waterloo Art’s District’s newest venue, on Saturday November 11, for the Rock Solid benefit for Cleveland Rocks: Past Present Future.
The nonprofit was funded by Beachland co-owner Cindy Barber a decade ago to provide help to musicians in developing their careers. The evening’s entertainment, accompanying scrumptious food, included present and former artists in its Incubator program: singer/songwriters Claire Feorene, Corry Michael, Thor Platter and Jenna Fournier, and two full-tilt bands, Maura Rogers and the Bellows, and Apostle Jones.
