Once again Cleveland Public Theatre hosted the annual Dia de Muertos celebration in Gordon Square, organized by the event’s artistic director Héctor Castellanos Lara. There was music in one building, ofrendas (memorial altars) in another and still more ofrendas in between. And the area was a sea of costumed people including musicians and dancers, many of whom lined up for the festive, colorful procession, celebrating those who have passed into memory.
