While a lot of what Art House Inc in the Brooklyn Centre neighborhood does is classes and programs or kids, its Community Culture Nights presents guess who offer a look at their professional work.
This month’s edition is an Architecture Roundtable, with three guests who’ll have a discussion about the uses of architecture.
They include Diane Davis-Sikora, a professor in the College of Architecture and Environmental Design at Kent State University, whose work involves “temporary, kinetic structures that employ variable patterns and surfaces.” She’s also made films about films architectural storytelling.
Terry Schwarz is director of Kent State University’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative, an organization which works on neighborhood and campus planning as well as commercial and residential design and vacant land reuse.
Finally, John Williams, founder ofOhio City’s Process Creative Studios, will be on hand to talk about their work in creative re-use of historic buildings.
