Local Band Blackout Rose Debuts New Video & New Songs at B-Side Lounge

Wed 11/1 @ 8PM

Singer/musician Davidione Pearl played sax with Akron zydeco party band Mo’Mojo before going on to form his own band Daddy Longlegs Homegrown Revival. He now fronts the more manageably named Blackout Rose, which like his previous project is an enticing stew of sounds from across multiple genres.

The band will be hosting an event to debut its live video “Temporary Savior,” produced by the group’s bassist Lovell Watson III, taking place at the B-Side Lounge. The band will perform a short set, along with screening the video (likely multiple times) and preview selections from its upcoming album Earth Station Echo. Admission is free.
