Cleveland baroque chamber ensemble Les Delices has something big to celebrate: the release of TWO new albums —country dance tunes and sentimental songs from their Scottish baroque disc The Highland Lassie, and a Christmas album called Noel Noel.
They’ll have physical copies of the recordings available at two free shows where they’ll perform songs from the former including “Barbara Allen” and “A red, red rose”: on Friday at Waterloo Arts Gallery Café and on Saturday at Bottlehouse Brewery in Cleveland Heights.
Musicians include violinists Julie Andrijeski and Allison Monroe, cellist Rebecca Reed, soprano Elena Mullins Bailey, harpsichordist Mark Edwards and oboe player/director Debra Nagy.
No reservations are needed; just stop by.
