Standing Rock Cultural Arts in Kent has a long tradition — 21 years! — of celebrating Dia de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead) with a group exhibition showcasing the work of diverse artists in a range of mediums, including paintings, drawings, sculpture and mixe media. Artists this year include Maria Burr Walter, Jennifer Hill, Tessa LeBaron whose art is seen above), Audrey Henry, Elizabeth Lax, Adam Lichi, David Jerome Bragg and Gabz Ciofani.
The opening night part takes place at Standing Rock’s North Water Street Gallery, which will simultaneously be marking its 31st birthday. Music will be provided by Mariachi Santa Cecilia. The exhibit will be on view through November 26.
