Gordon Square’s Historic Haunts Tours Are Back for the Third Year

Thu 10/5-Sat 10/7

The West Clinton Historic Haunts Walking Tours, hosted by Near West Theatre and the West Clinton Block Club, are back for the third year to take you on a not-all-that-scary tour of the West Clinton neighborhood in beautiful, gentrifying Gordon Square.

Sure, they’ll try to scare the walkers with narratives about historical intrigue, unsolved mysteries, crimes and other haunted happenings in the area but basically the tour is family-friendly so not really that blood-curdling. And the walk is interactive; audience becomes participants, acting as detectives to help solve mysteries. And somehow they manage to drag in Cleveland’s most infamous unsolved crime, the Torso Murders of the 1930s, which happened nowhere near Gordon Square.

Drawing on the popularity of murder mystery theater, the audience will vote on the perpetrator at the end of the walk. The walk is about a mile and has mutiple departure times.

Tickets are $10 for adults, free for those 15 and younger. Get your tickets soon; both previous years sold out. Go here.
