While the situation in Israel and Palestine is fraught, with accusations of blame flying in every direction, some people and organizations on both sides have focused on helping the civilian victims.
One of those is Park Synagogue in Pepper Pike. It’s tapped the Cleveland Ballet to present an evening of performance to raise funds for the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Israel Emergency Campaign to help victims of Hamas violence and Brothers and Sisters For Israel, a civilian aid organization.
Israeli-Ukrainian composer Anna Segal will be offering music and sharing the inspiration for it, while the Cleveland Ballet will be performing choreography by former Mariinsky Theatre dancer/choreographer Ilia Zhivoi.
