A great time to come to the Coventry PEACE Campus to meet the artists and organizations who call the building home is this Friday. Not only will it be hosting it quarterly PEACE Pops event, but the artists who work at the art space ARTFUL will be holding their annual exhibit and sale in their main gallery. They’ll have refreshments and snacks to enjoy while you browse the work of more than a dozen artists who work in the building.
Meanwhile, Coventry PEACE Pops offers the chance to tour artist studios, listen to some live music by the City Lite band, pose or photos in your costume, hear spooky stories from Lake Eric Ink, enter the black-light tunnel, make a mask or contribute to a mural. And Robin VanLear’s giant puppets, which Clevelanders have come to know and love from her three decades with Parade the Circle (she now has a studio at the PEACE camps) will be prowling around ready to pose with you for a photo.
This month there’ll be Halloween candy (of course), plus donuts, cider and popcorn.
It’s a great, all-ages event — free and open to all.
