Taste of Slavic Village Supports Services at University Settlement

Thu 9/28 @ 6-9PM

Slavic Village’s University Settlement was founded nearly 100 years ago — in 1926 — to train social workers and provide community services. It continues to do so with programs for families, kids and seniors, ranging from a food pantry to tutoring for school kids.

One way it supports its work is through its annual Taste of Slavic Village fundraiser, now in its 15th year, taking place at Bohemian National Hall. This year it’ll honor the history and culture of the neighborhood. That includes specialty foods from area restaurants and food businesses including Red Chimney, RK Sausage, Sokol Greater Cleveland, Amy Bakes, Chef Rufus, Pearl Flowering Catering, Sabor Miami Café,  Saucisson and Philomena Bake Shop, along with entertainment, raffle baskets and a wine pull.
