The Gallery at Lakeland Community College will again be hosting its biennial show, The Skull & Skelton in Art VIII: Folk Art to Pop Culture, curated by the gallery’s tireless coordinator Mary Urbas who typically wrangles more than 100 artists, mostly regional but some from across the country, for the show.
The galleries are packed with works in a range of mediums including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, collage, textiles, sculpture, ceramics, glass, wood, jewelry and more
The show will be on view through Friday November 3. On Friday October 26, the gallery will host its Costume Party & Boneyard Market where many of the artists will be present and selling their work. It’s free and open to all.
