Once again, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History is offering a naturalist-led hike in its Mentor Marsh wildlife area — this time to look for the colorful fall flowers that grow in this naturalized area.
“Let’s go on a hike at Mentor Marsh to see what’s in bloom and what species are using these floral resources at this time of year,” they suggests. The hike is moderately paced and family-friendly. They suggest closed-toe sturdy shoes and dress appropriate for the weather, and bringing binoculars or a camera for closer study or capturing memorable photos.
Meet at the Carol H. Sweet Nature Center, 5185 Corduroy Road in Mentor. Register here.
