It’s time to fight back. The state legislature in Columbus seems to think that Ohioans are faced with no more pressing issues than a trans girl playing high school softball somewhere in the Chagrin Falls area and the decisions other families are making as far as medical care for their transgender children. (Gee, whatever happened to “parents’ rights”?)
Bigoted state legislators have flooded the calendar with anti-trans legislation. Want to know more about these bills so you know what to fight back against? Madelyn, Equality Ohio’s Northeast Ohio organizer, will be leading an educational forum at the LGBT Community Center to explain how the process works and answer questions anyone may have about what this legislation contains, what it does and how to fight it most effectively.
It’s free and open to anyone who cares about equal rights and treatment for all Ohioans. Register here.
