Lake Erie Ink Launches Its Community Cookbook at Benefit Party

Sun 10/1 @ 4-6PM

Lake Erie Ink has been working on a project for several months called Stirring Stories, which explores the connection between storytelling and cooking.

Now it’s hosting the third and final event in the series, a fundraiser called Culinary Creativity, taking place at Dunham Tavern Museum Barn. It marks the launch of the community cookbook created by the Stirring Stories project with food and stories from local chefs, including Larder’s Jeremy Umansky, Melissa Khoury of Saucisson, Doug Katz of Amba and Zhug, Ninja City’s Dylan Fallon, and Mark and Carol White of Rid-All Green Partnership; stories from Lake Erie Ink students; a poetry bar; and a wine pull. The event’s proceeds benefit Lake Erie Ink’s mission of encouraging community members, especially youth, to share their stories through writing and art.

Get tickets and/or buy a copy of the cookbook here.
