For years, starting back around 2006, local musician/restaurateur Justin Gorski’s alterego DJ Kishka was a regular fixture at the Happy Dog in Gordon Square with his monthly Polka Happy Hours, as well as special events such as his holiday “How the Kishka Saved Christmas.” (He also founded Dyngus Day, the day-after-Easter festival, taking place in Gordon Square.)
He’s been on another hiatus recently, promising we’d be hearing from DJ Kishka and his vast collection of polka records only occasionally. But now he’ll back in the booth for monthly spin sessions starting this month. He’ll be back October 20, November 17 and December 15. So roll out the barrel and we’ll have a barrel of fun!
