Sun 9/10 @ 10AM-5PM
It’s now 33 years that the Berea Arts Fest has been an eagerly anticipated part of the September events calendar.
Rain or shine, arts and arts-related activities will fill up downtown Berea’s Front Street on Sunday September 10. That includes nearly 150 artist stalls, live performers, and food booths and trucks offering everything from pork sandwiches and chicken tenders to vegan foods to donuts, ice cream and kettle corn — you know, all the healthy stuff!
Area artists and craftspeople will be showing painting, prints, jewelry, photography, glass, wood and metal work, and ceramics. Performers on the main stage include Whiskey Drinks, Da Land Brass Band, Moises Borges, Unc D and Shoreline Funk Allstars. You might run into the living statue, Unspeakable, who’ll be working the street for the 10th year.
There’ll also be live art-making demonstrations and a Kids Kreation Station where kids can make their own art inspired by what they see. Be sure to stop at the raffle tent where you buy tickets to take a chance on winning some art made by one of the exhibiting artists as well as other prizes, including a wagon filled with more than $1000 worth of art and craft supplies.
Admission is free and there’s a free shuttle service from 9:30am-5:30pm. Get more information here.
