Are you or your family in the market for a new four-legged family member? Or do you just love animals and want to help them? Come on down at the new Berea Animal Rescue shelter for its Family Fun Fest, part of its month-long Paws for a Cause drive.
You can tour the shelter and meet some of the residents, as well as interact with dogs and cats and watch cats enjoy the bubble machine on a catio. Perhaps you’ll spot an animal you’d like to take home. And at noon there’ll be a demonstration of activities you can do with your own pet (s).
There’ll also be temporary tattoos for kids, ARF (Animal Rescue Friends) merch for sale and the East Coast Frozen Custard truck with cones and sundaes available for purchase. AND if you donate at least $25 (they’ll accept more!) you get a free sundae or cone. There’s no admission free.
