Sat 8/19 @ noon-11PM
Head down south — no, not that far! —just to Medina, and enjoy a long day of music in its South Town District.
Main Street Medina’s South Town Music Festival features free concerts by a whole bunch of area bands in various businesses around the district. For instance, early birds can catch the Found Sound Steel Pan Band playing at Hokulia & Ohio Valley Pizza from noon to 1pm while Susie Everiss performs at Keller Meats in the same time slot. There are 11 more bands scheduled throughout the day playing sets ranging from an hour to three hours.
The event wraps up with “Rally at the Restore” at the Habitat for Humanity Resotre, with Collin Husbands at 5-6pm, Paper Morning at 6-7pm and a marathon performance by Lengendz Experience from 7-11pm. Beer, wine and cider will be available at the Rally, along with food from from Emi’s Taqueria, Hokulia Shaved Ice, Ohio Valley Pizza and Big Dog Daddy’s. There’ll also be a 50/50 rally to benefit Medina Habitat for Humanity.
