Actress Valerie Bertinelli Shares Her New Book in Hudson Library Program

Tue 9/5 @ 7PM

Actress Valerie Bertinelli is best known to many from her role on the show One Day at a Time where she played one of two daughters of a single mother from 1975-1984, a role she debuted when she was just 15. She’s also known to rock music fans as the wife of the late guitarist Eddie Van Halen for 26 years and mother of their musician son Wolfgang.

She’s also an author who’s written a couple of books about her struggle with her weight. She’s now released a new book called Enough Already: Learning to Love the Way I Am Today, which casts a wider net. In this collection of essays, she explores her career, her marriage, caring for her parents as they aged and the media pressure to be a certain way, and how she addressed these challenges and learned to find validation from within herself.

She’ll be doing a virtual book event through the Hudson Library & Historical Society to talk about the book.  It’s free but registration is required. Go here.
