Shaker Square in alive every Saturday morning with its extensive North Union Farmers Market.
But this week the fun will keep going into the afternoon with Summer on the Square, a free-family-friendly event. There’s an all-ages yoga class led by Abide Yoga, and a Zumba Fitness dance class suitable for all skill levels, led by the HIIT Factor. Cleveland City Dance, whose headquarters are right on Shaker Square, will be doing a demonstration, and there’ll be a magic show and live music by soul band the Day Nites for entertainment.
From 10am-2pm there’ll be a host of you-try-it special activities including a surfing simulator, a six-hole golf course, juggling and magic, a Dr. U.R. Awesome bubble party, crafts and yard games. Free summer teats and music by DJ JetSet2one6 round out the fun.
Oh wait — we forgot something. Of COURSE there’s face painting! We hear it’s now the law.
