Cleveland drag star and “Vixen of Versatility” Anhedonia Delight is back at the Grog Shop for her monthly GlamGore evening, with “Summer Camp Takeover” for July.
“Camp,” of course, has two meanings here, as she promises “GlamGore hosts some of the silliest queens and kings around Ohio and beyond! After taking a wrong turn through the woods, a few drag entertainers were picked up and hauled to the Grog Shop” for an evening she describes as “filled with camp, comedy and shenanigans!”
As usual the performers are rounded up from near and far. This month’s bill includes Cleveland’s Vivian Vendetta-Sinclaire, three performers from Columbus: Maya Bizness, Riley Popyseed and Clinica Deprecious (the former two familiar locally from appearances on Cleveland Burlesque shows at the Beachland), and “Debbie” (just “Debbie”) from Pennsylvania. As usual, DJ Zoe will be spinning the tunes that keep the evening zipping along — although don’t expect slow spots in this evening of antics.
Admission is $15 in advance, $20 at the door, $30 for VIP which includes reserved seating, a meet-and-greet with the performers, GlamGore merch, and one free cocktail. Go here for more info and tickets. And it’s all-ages. Take THAT, Ron DeSantis.
