Take Dad to the Father’s Day Vintage Car Show at Akron’s Stan Hywet Hall

Sun 6/18 @ 9AM-3PM

It may be sort of a cliché that guys love cars, but it’s true that many guys (and gals) do. If your dad is one of those, why not take him to Akron’s Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens for its 65th annual Father’s Day Classic, Antique & Collector Car Show? Hosted in partnership with the Ohio Region Classic Car Club of America, it boasts of being one of the oldest car shows in the country.

Stan Hywet’s Great Meadow will blooming with cars  — 400 cars made between 1915-1997, including a special category for “air-cooled cars.” There’ll also be six antique boats similar to ones owned by the Seiberlings, who built Stan Hywet Hall.

Admission includes the self-guided tour of the Manor House, gardens, Corbin Conservatory and the Playgarden and Home of Nature play area. Food and drink will be available for purchase, and rock band My Drunk’n Uncle will be playing on the courtyard stage from 11am-2pm.

Tickets are available pre-sale only. Go here to get them.
