If you haven’t tired of showing your LGBTQ+ pride or your support for your LGBTQ+ friends, or you missed the big Pride in the CLE Cleveland celebration, there are still opportunities around the area.
Lorain County Pride takes place in Oberlin (where else?) at Tappan Square on Saturday June 24 @ noon-4pm. There’ll be vendors, performances, games and more. And you can join your friends and family at Avon’s Mercy Health Stadium for the Pride Night at the Lake Erie Crushers game where, at 6:05pm, drag artist Kaydence Jayne will sing the national anthem and throw out the first pitch. Or you can make a quick dash out to Solon out in Cuyahoga County’s far southeast side, where Solon Pride will be happening from 4-7pm. Yes, even affluent educated white people support their LGBTQ+ kids and family members. That event will include performers, speakers and educational opportunities.
