Family Fun Days & Campfires at CVNP

Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) and the Conservancy for CVNP welcomes you to Family Fun Days and Campfires to enjoy the outdoors with your family.

 

Family Fun Days

Enjoy an afternoon of summer fun featuring art activities, fishing, guided hikes, pond studies, field games, and even a DJ to keep you and your family moving!

Family Fun Days take place from noon – 4PM at Kendall Lake Shelter, 1000 Truxell Road in Peninsula, right in the heart of one of the most visited national parks in the country on the following Saturdays:

* June 24

* July 22

* August 26

* September 16

 

 

Campfires:

As day turns to night, you and your family may want to enjoy a National Park Service tradition: campfires. Bring a picnic, enjoy field games, a hike around the Ledges, music, and s’mores, followed by a puppet show that explores the amazing animals and history of the park. The campfires take place 6-8PM at Ledges Shelter, 405 Truxell Road, Peninsula, Ohio 44264, on the following days:

* July 5: Are We There Yet?

* July 12: Feathered Friends

* July 19: Splish, Splash, What Was That?

* July 26: Fuzzy Families?

* August 2: Down on the Farm
