Fri 6/23-Sun 7/2
Cleveland History Days was created in 2018 by Tim Donovan and Tom Jablonsky to share and educate people about diverse aspects of the area’s history through a ten-day series of events with partner organizations led by the cultural heritage nonprofit Canalway.
This year, it’s offering more than 50 program and events, including tours, lectures, hikes and open houses, several of which we’ve spotlighted. They cover things such as the river, baseball, rock & roll, architecture, and landmarks. On Wednesday June 28, you can meet with Donovan and Jablonsky at Metropolitan Coffee, 4744 Broadview Road, for the free Cleveland History Days Coffee Talk from 6:30-8:30pm.
But there are plenty of others, and if you want to see the full list and register for something in line with your particular interests, you can find that here.
The opening ceremony takes place at the Cleveland History Center on Friday June 23 from 10:30am-1pm. It’s free to attend.
