Edgewater Neighbor Fest Offers Fun Activities on Clifton Blvd

Sun 6/25 @ Noon-6PM

In 2012, the Cudell Community Development Corporation on the northwestern edge of Cleveland and the Detroit-Shoreway CDC, representing the area a little further east, radiating out of Gordon Square, merged to create the Northwest Neighborhoods CDC.

Other changes were in story as well. In 2022, when Cudell’s long-running Clifton Arts & Music Festival returned after the pandemic, it was rebranded Edgewater NeighborFest. The summer street festival, taking place on June 25, invites people from across the region to sample what this area has to offer.

Taking place on Clifton between West 115th and West 117th, the event offers an afternoon of diverse activities including games, entertainment, kids’ activities, food and drink, and shopping from local vendors. A main stage on the street’s west end will feature music by DJ Aaron Terkel, the Truth Untold and Jack’s Jazz, a fashion show hosted by U.C. ME Boutique and line dancing with Showout Line Dancing.

Organizations such as LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland, Cleveland Job Corps and the Cleveland Public Library will be onsite with information about its programs, while the Kids Book Bank will be giving away books and the Cleveland Orchestra will be there to let kids explore different instruments. There’s even a Pets Pop-Up area where they’ll take free dog portraits or sell you a dog color — and the adorable City Dogs will be there begging for you to adopt them.

There’s no admission charge. For more info and a full schedule, go to neighborfest.fun.
