It’s not like Put-in-Bay needs a reason to party any weekend, but this weekend offers fun for the whole family at the 15th annual Pyrate Festival
Dress up in a pirate costume to take in the action at the Pyrate Village and Faire Winds Circus, watch re-enactors and cannon demonstrations in DeRivera Park daily, study historical displays, enter costume contests, go on a treasure hunt with Jack Sparrow or sail on the tall ship Schooner Appledore IV (tickets available here.)
If you’re with your rowdy friends rather than your family, there’s also a more typically Put-in-Bay Pyrate Bar Crawl on Friday evening.
