Sat 6/17 @ 10AM-3PM
The Beachland’s summer flea markets are back, with the usual array of vendors offering stuff that appeals to rock & rollers — not just vinyl and music memorabilia (posters, books, magazines etc) but also vintage clothing and accessories, distinctive jewelry, original artwork, collectibles and more.
But it’s not just about shopping, with vendors both inside and out (unless it rains, of course). The bar will be open and the kitchen opens at 10am, so you can grab something to eat and drink and just chill.
And then, there’s also music! At 1pm in the tavern, Akron-based jazz/pop/soul/funk sax player Nathan-Paul Davis (The Admirables) will offer a set of what he calls “Sound Medicine,” and Mango Mirage “a cosmic duo from a far-off planet, sent on a mission to save humanity through the power of music and love.” That’s also free.
