Reggae fans — and fans of laidback summery vibes — will want to head down to Voinovich Park on Memorial day weekend, where they can enjoy two full days of irie sounds.
Each days will feature a mix of local, regional and national/international acts. On Saturday you’ll hear more contemporary bands who mix reggae with rock, soul, ska and jam band sounds, including Cloud9 Vibes, Human Nature, Mighty Mystic, Roots of Creation and HWT. More traditional roots-based reggae bans will perform on Sunday: the Flex Crew and the Ark Band, both from Columbus, Lazo & Exodus performing their Bob Marley tribute, Jamaican vocal legends the Meditations (pictured) and Cleveland’s beloved Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band.
