Celebrate the local music scene and take part in its growth and expansion at Music/Style—A Fusion, an evening of connection, taking place at the Beachland Ballroom.
And connection is what it’s all about — joining experienced musicians with those new on the scene, and adding constellation of the support people and businesses who can help take musicians to another level, including stage production teams, designers, photographers, media, producers and visual artists, among others.
The evening will feature a CD release party for the debut album, Cherry Red, by LoConti, a new young melodic rock band starting to make waves in the regional music scene. They’ll be joined by one of the area’s buzziest buzz bands, the high-energy soulful rock ensemble Apostle Jones, and singer/songwriter Kennedy Nagel. In addition, veteran progressive rock guitarist Carl Baldasarre will be making a special appearance. Their performances will be enhanced by full stage production, including lighting and special effects.
Representatives from various music-related businesses will be set up in the club’s lobby to meet and talk to musicians and music fans.
