ChamberFest Cleveland’s 11th season takes place June14-July 1. But this week you can get a look at how a festival evolves and is put together when Visible Voice Books in Tremont hosts a discussion with ChamberFest’s artistic directors, violinist Diana Cohen and her husband, pianist Roman Rabinovich.
It will open with a presentation by Case Western Reserve English faculty member Steve Pinkerton on Milan Kundera’s novel The Unbearable Lightness of Being. Then Cohen and Rabinovich will talk about how they go about curating the multiple concerts at various locations over the two-week period that comprises the festival. There’ll be aQ&A period and the opportunity to hang out afterwards. Wine and beer are available for purchases, as well as books!
