First Friday Hops Offer a Three-Location Party Downtown

Fri 6/2 @ 6-9PM

Still pining for the downtown Parties in the Park of the ’70s and ’80s? Just stop it — they’re still going on, under a different name. There’s plenty of music and fun happening in downtown Cleveland this summer.

For instance, there are the First Friday Hops, taking place the first Fridays of June, July and August at THREE different locations with live music, curated vendor markets, beverages for purchase and a food truck at each location. (There were no food trucks in the ’70s and ’80s, so see, it IS getting better!) Each stage will feature a different style of music. This week, Shakey Ground plays reggae at Playhouse Square’s U.S. Bank Plaza, KB and the Riptides do surf rock at Public Square, and Sugar Mules offers bluegrass at Voinovich Park.

And there’ll be a trolley making the rounds of all three stages, so you don’t have to run to catch all the action. More info here.
