Thu 6/1-Sun 6/4
Classical guitar aficionados should be in heaven this weekend when the Cleveland Classical Guitar Festival returns for the 23rd year.
Taking place, appropriately, at the Cleveland Institute of Music, its four days are packed with performances, lectures, master classes, an exhibit of concert guitars and the fourth annual James Stroud Youth Competition for the next generation of classical guitarist, ages 14-18. Nearly a dozen world-class musicians will be performing at the ticketed concerts and offering master classes with pre-chosen classical guitar students, which are free to the public to observe.
