Blossom Time Festival Is Four Days of Fun in Chagrin Falls

Thu 5/25-Sun 5/28

Chagrin Falls Blossom Time festival is a long-time tradition in the city, sponsored by the Chagrin Valley Jaycees.

For four days visitors can partake of food and drink; musical performances by artists such as rootsy singer-songwriter Tom Evanchuck, long-running blues ensemble the Armstrong Bearcat Band; and rides and carnival games, right in the heart of downtown.

Sunday is the big day, starting with the Blossom Time Run at 9am, and continuing with the Blossom Time Parade featuring floats and marching units from all sorts of groups and organizations. One of the event’s most distinctive and special events — something you don’t see at other festivals — is the appearance of the hot air balloons, which launch at the high school in Washington Street. You’ll especially want to be there for the Balloon Glow, Thursday May 25 @ 6-10pm, when the pilots inflate and launch their balloons at dusk, festooned with lights.

The event is free and open to all. (Ride bracelets are additional.)
