Authors Share Their Experience at Teen Writers’ Symposium

Sat 5/6 @ 11:30AM-3:30PM

If you have (or are) a teen or pre-teen in grades 6-12 and have an urge to write in any genre — poetry, fiction, science fiction, journalism, essays, memoir, or anything else — you’ll probably want to sign up for Lake Erie Ink’s Teen Writers’ Symposium, taking place at Cleveland State University’s Mather Mansion at 2605 Euclid Avenue.

The event features a bunch of local authors who’ll hold conversations with the young people and answer their questions, while sharing their experience in hands-on workshops. Some of the panelists include the Ohio Poetry Association’s 2021 Poet of the Year Quartez Harris; Cleveland arts prize winner poet Philip Metres; mystery writer DM Pulley; and music journalist Annie Zaleski.

The event, which includes a pizza lunch, is free, but you must register. Go here.
