In 2012, the Cudell Community Development Corporation on the northwestern edge of Cleveland and the Detroit-Shoreway CDC, representing the area a little further east, radiating out of Gordon Square, merged to create the Northwest Neighborhoods CDC.
Other changes were in story as well. In 2022, when Cudell’s long-running Clifton Arts & Music Festival returned after the pandemic, it was rebranded Edgewater NeighborFest. The summer street festival, taking place this year on June 25, invites people from across the region to sample what this area has to offer.
This week it’ll be hosting a fundraiser to help pay for the festival, a trivia night at No Class (formerly Now That’s Class) on Detroit Avenue. All are welcome to participate. Registration is at 6:30; trivia starts a 7pm. The focus will be o your knowledge of Cleveland. For more information contact Paula at 216-374-0280.
