Since 1976, Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes have been a Cleveland favorite with their big horn-driven R&B/rock sound. Like the Michael Stanley Band they would out Blossom Music Center year after year in the early 80s, something they couldn’t do anywhere else (except maybe their native New Jersey).
They still return to NE Ohio frequently. This past week they performed at the restored Robins Theater in downtown Warren, Ohio bringing their usual heat to old and new favorites including “The Fever,” “Having a Party” and “Trapped Again.”
