The annual IngenuityFest in September (this year 9/22-9/24) takes a lot of work, people, creativity and resources to make it happen. Its annual Ingenuity Bal, taking place this year on Saturday May 6, not only raises money for the festival, but gives partygoers a preview of big event whose theme this year is Biologies & Geologies. Bal Biotique will be a flora- and fauna-inspired landscape technology, exhibits, decor, demonstrations, and hands-on activities, in addition to food, drink, music, cirque-style performances and dancing.
Guests are invited to come in themed attire, and Ingenuity’s creative are, the Ingeneers, will be taking the lead. On a recent workshop night, amidst the hammering and painting and sweeping, they also tried on costumes and made accessories from a table full of fabrics and notions.
