If you’re a cat lover — and we sure hope you are because these little fur packages are one of life’s greatest joys (yes, we love dogs too) — come on over to the Bottlehouse Brewery in Cleveland Heights for an informal evening of cat-related fun to raise money for the Waterloo Alley Cat Project.
WACP was founded more than 13 years ago by Pete & Debbie Gulyas, who own Blue Arrow Records on Waterloo Road. When they moved in they realized a lot of feral cats roamed the neighborhood and set about caring for them and neutering them so that kittens didn’t overrun the place. Now WACP’s team of volunteers cares for about 50 cats and seldom see kittens unless they’re dumped.
Admission to the event is free. Raffle tickets for the $1000 grand prize are $20. There’ll also be raffle baskets to bid on and food as well as a cash bar. Raffles $20 per ticket, $1000 grand prize. You can buy tickets for the grand prize drawing online as well here.
