Sat 4/15  & Sun 4/16 @ 10AM-4PM

Hale Farm & Village in Bath is known for its recreation of pioneer Ohio life in the 19th century. But what it’s typically recreated is the life of the white settlers who arrived in Ohio from the east — not the region’s long-time previous residents.

This weekend is about them. During Hale Farm’s Native American Cultural Weekend, the facility will be showcasing the histories, cultures and artisanal skills of the various peoples who inhabited the region prior to the settlers. Cultural educator from the Delaware and Seneca Nations and the Eastern Shawnee Tribe will be onsite to share talks, presentations and demonstrations. They’ll include demonstrations of traditional cooking with local native plants, natural dye demonstrations and interactive fiber tables. There’ll also be naturalist tours and food available from the Everett Trail Kitchen. The grounds will be open as usual.

Get tickets here, or at the door.
