With 18 acts Sinfully Yours at the Beachland Ballroom was one of the most extravagant burlesque shows put on by promotion company Cleveland Burlesque this side of its August Ohio International Burlesque Fest. And rightfully so. It was honoring the 20th anniversary of Cleland Burlesque founder/sparkplug Bella Sin’s debut on a burlesque stage.
Bella performed, she ran all over the building greeting friends and checking on the vendors, and she cried up a storm when her fellow performers presented her with a crown and flowers. This show featured all Ohio acts, primarily from NE Ohio, and their stunning quality and diversity (they even included an opera singer and puppeteer!) demonstrated how strong the burlesque scene has gotten in this area — much of that growth thanks to Bella and Cleveland Burlesque.
