Fri 3/10 @ 6PM
Are you one of those people who can hardly wait until you can drag yourself out of bed the Monday morning after Easter, pull on your “It’s good to be drunk and Polish” T-shirt and head over to Gordon Square to drink the day (and evening!) away at Dyngus Day, the traditional post-Easter let-loose event imported from Poland? There you can even bookend Lent with more paczkis at this crazy-street party, and yes, we did see that T-shirt there one year.
Dyngus Day is still a month away but if you want to dust off your party chops — yeah, we know it’s Lent and you’re supposed to be repenting and self-depriving and all that but — come on down to the Happy Dog. Cleveland Dyngus Day founder, musician DJ Kishka (Justin Gorski) will be making a rare appearance, sporting the fake beard and spinning polkas, getting you in the mood at his “One Month Til Dyngus Day” party. Did you give up beer for Lent? Oh, come on.
