Seems like there’s a glut of new local music being debuted right now. Joining the parade are melodic hard rockers Avenging Scarlett, who’ll perform their debut release White Witch in its entirely at a show this week at the Foundry in Lakewood.
Featuring Emily Poland on vocals, Nick Caruso on guitars, Frank Cawley on bass and Ghost on drums, the band’s got a throwback sound that will remind some listeners of their favorite arena rockers of the late 70s and 80s, with accessible songs driven by propulsive, heavy rock guitar and percussion. Their special guests at the Foundry are … Still in Darkness and Kiss Me Deadly. It’s an all-ages show with a $10 cover. Doors are at 6:30 for the 7:30pm show.
